O.R.A.T.
ORAT is now a national and international reference point in the field of non-destructive testing. Since 2005 we have introduced in Italy the automatic ultrasonic technology control of pipeline welds and, since then, we are undisputed leaders in this industry.
In the early years 2000 ORAT exports its technology abroad and, from 2011 to 2016, opens offices in Colombia, Mexico Peru and Greece. In Mexico we are the leading operator in this sector
Over the years we have worked in America, Africa and Eastern Europe where we participated the largest projects in the recent 10-year: The TAP, Trans Adriatica Pipeline, within which O.R.A.T. takes care of 70% Greek tract.
In 2016, after a long and difficult path, we have won the prestigious qualification DNV (Det Norske Veritas) attestation of the quality level reached.

Our expertise encompasses the most important methods of non-destructive testing. From manual ultrasonic to automatic ones, from radiographs using x-ray tubes and gamma sources, to magnetoscope investigations until the dye penetrant.

Training, awareness and monitoring: these are the three pillars that over the years have dramatically reduced the number of accidents and their criticality. From 2014 to 2016 we have recorded only one accident with the loss of only 6 business days on over 400,000 man-hours worked.

Our staff is in constant training and updating. The growing demand of using complex Phased-Array technology, the need to maintain high safety standards, the desire to grow our staff and the company, together with the need to respond to the needs of our customers, require to be able to count on staff at the highest levels of professionalism.
